Call and Business Center

The Call and Business Center (CBC) is the "nerve center" of PP-CS. The CBC responds to telephone calls and web requests for maintenance requests. Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) dispatch calls to the appropriate craft shop for resolution. CSRs can provide follow-up and tracking of customer work orders. The CBC has one phone number for ALL customer service needs: 642-1032.

Use this number for work service requests for:

  • Building Maintenance
  • Lock Shop
  • Grounds
  • Utilities Operations
  • Recycling
  • Pest Management
  • Custodial Services

How To Access Customer Service

There are two "avenues" for obtaining maintenance services:

Work Orders (WOs) are issued for general maintenance or custodial items costing less than $500. For same-day emergency requests, contact the Call and Business Center. For non-emergency scheduled maintenance requests, please create a Work Request Online.

Project Renovation Requisitions (PRRs) generally refer to requests for projects where costs are expected to exceed $500. Beginning July 5, 2000, PRRs can be submitted over the web through the PRR web site. Both Capital Projects and Physical Plant - Campus Services will review submitted PRRs and notify clients as to the disposition of the PRR. PRRs can result in a "Proceed without Estimate" project, or you can request an estimate for work within the scope of the PRR.
