Privacy Statement:
The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for the UC Berkeley Physical Plant-Campus Services (PP-CS) web site (http://physicalplant.berkeley.edu/):

Information Gathering and Use:
PP-CS may collect the following user information: IP address; access date and time; pages visited; and internet address of originating web site. No identifiable personal information (i.e. name, address, etc.) is collected, therefore users remain anonymous. Aggregated into statistical reports, collected information may be used to address technical problems or help improve site content and architecture.

Security:
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under PP-CS control. Attempts to defeat or circumvent security features that result in unauthorized use of the system, service denials, or content alteration are prohibited. Evidence of such acts may be disclosed to law enforcement authorities and result in criminal prosecution under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act of 1996, codified at section 1030 of Title 18 of the United States Code, or other applicable criminal laws.
